I’ve had a busy past few weeks! I just returned from Dallas and had a fabulous time there for a work conference. I recently moved departments into University Recruiting at my firm and it’s been an amazing move for me! I came back from Dallas just in time for our Holiday Party. Every year, the firm chooses a beautiful venue to hold the party at. It was at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco this year. If you’ve never been there, you should definitely check it out during the holidays! It’s absolutely gorgeous 😉
Now I’m one of those girls who just has to have a new dress for every event. I rarely outfit repeat unless it’s been a few years – I know I know.. It’s a bad habit. I really wanted something glittery but not over the top this year. During the Nordstrom sale, I ordered 4 different dresses and surprisingly the one I was least excited about turned out to be the one I fell in love with. Funny how that works out 😉 This dress has a beautiful slimming silhouette and an exposed gold zipper down the entire dress. In the photo on Nordstrom, you’ll see that it looks much more blue. In real life, it actually is very dark navy. I found that in most pictures, the gold showed the most. The photos below show the dress in some different lighting – such a gorgeous dress!! The gold glitter detailing is just the right amount of sparkle.
It was such a great night seeing everyone all dressed up and together right before the big Holiday break. I have one week of work to power through before Daniel and I head out to New York for a week! So excited to unwind and go on vacation together. He’s the best travel buddy 😉
Speaking of Daniel – I wanted to share this Vince Camuto coat that we bought for him a while back. He finally had a chance to wear it out and he was really impressed by the quality! It also kept him super warm last night. The coat is currently on sale for $129 and would be an awesome gift for the man in your life 😉
And I’ll end this blog by sharing these photobooth pics from last night – I’m a real sucker for photobooths haha.
I hope you gals had an amazing weekend! Til next time XOXO!
