Perfect Cat Eye Sunglasses

It’s a black and white Friday here at Sweet & Petite! I thought I would switch it up a little for this post and do all my photos in B&W today 🙂 I’m sure that all of you have searched high and low for the perfect pair of sunnies. It’s hard finding the right size, color, shape, etc to frame your face. Over the years, I’ve discovered that the best sunglasses for my face are aviators, cat eye sunnies, and rounded square sunnies. Today’s post is all about these cat eye sunglasses from Tory Burch that Daniel got me for my birthday. Absolutely love them!

Here’s my top 3 favorite things about these sunglasses:

1. Great size – not too small and not too large. I’ve noticed that when sunglasses are too small they make my face look wider ( 🙁 ) and when they are too big they just overwhelm my face ( also 🙁 ). At 54mm, they’re a great medium size sunnie.
2. Excellent quality – they’re really sturdy in the sense that I don’t feel like they would break easily. As much as I love my Ray Bans, I feel like they’re so flimsy especially for how much they cost. These have great build.
3. Retro feel – Who doesn’t love a good cat eye sunnie?! I’ve always loved this shape but had a hard time finding a great one to fit my face. When I first saw these, it was love at first sight! I love how they add that vintage feel to any outfit.
