I hate wearing pants.. and jeans… and well leggings are just about the best thing ever because they’re like wearing pants but more comfy 😉
I often get questions about what leggings I love, where I shop for leggings, and so I wanted to share my favorite leggings with you all! I swear by 4 brands for leggings and they range in different price points. I’ve found that sometimes investing in good leggings makes a world of difference because I really do wear them so much!
One thing I will note is that for my height (5’2.5), I have a shorter torso and longer legs relative to my frame so just take that into consideration when you’re comparing sizing info and length!
ZELLA
These are probably my most worn leggings and I reach for them often! I was first drawn to them for the price point ($54) but immediately loved them for how thick the material was! They are by far the thickest material of any leggings I own so I feel really comfortable wearing them with sweaters and tunics. The material is so thick, yet still flattering and help suck you in. I’ve owned the regular waist and the high waist and by far the high waist is better!
My favorite high waisted ones are here and you can view all of their leggings here.
Zella also has Z by Zella which is a lower pricepoint – I don’t personally own them but the reviews look great if you want a legging around the $30 range! The 7/8 length would probably be perfect for petites.
Pricepoint: $50 range, sometimes they will go on sale twice a year
Sizing: Runs TTS, I wear an XS
Material: Thick legging material
Best use: Everyday wear & athleisure
LULULEMON
I couldn’t write a post without including the Align Pant 2 from Lululemon. I’m telling you guys these are my favorite leggings ever. A few years ago I wanted to splurge and get some stuff from Lululemon so I asked my bestie who used to work there to see which ones I should try and she said these ones hands down! The material is buttery soft and they just lift your booty up! They are so incredible and this length is perfect for petites. They also have the actual pant which is longer but the 2 is the way to go (25″). I just can’t say enough good things about these. They’re the best but of course a splurge at around $100 per pair. However, I do think they’re so worth it!
Pricepoint: $100, never goes on sale
Sizing: Runs TTS, I wear size 2 and usually wear XS in leggings
Material: Thinner material, buttery-soft and sweat-wicking Lululemon Nuluâ„¢ fabric
Best use: Everyday wear & athleisure (but to be honest you could sleep in these it’s like you’re wearing nothing!
SPANX
I bought my first pair of Spanx leggings this year – the faux leather ones… and let me tell you.. they are worth every single penny! I can’t even tell you how many times I have worn these. They can be dressed up or down, look so cute on, and go with SO many outfits. I just absolutely love them! If yo are looking for a new fun pair of leggings to add to your closet, these are a huge staple of mine now!
Pricepoint: $100, they do go on sale and I try to post in stories or the LTK app when they do!
Sizing: Runs small, I size up one size in these leggings to a Small
Material: Faux leather material, lots of stretch
Best use: Everyday wear & dressing up
AERIE
I never thought to buy leggings from Aerie but bought these grey pocketed leggings after seeing them all over insta and they are sooo good! The material is buttery soft almost as soft as the Lululemon ones and they are a fraction of the price! I love how they are cuffed and have pockets. I liked them so much I grabbed the black ones the next time they went on sale. They’re still in stock right now so I would grab them while you can!
Pricepoint: $50, on sale right now for $35
Sizing: TTS, I’m wearing an XS
Material: Buttery soft material
Best use: Everyday wear, travel, and lounging
OTHER BRANDS I LOVE
I also love Beyond Yoga and Alo Yoga leggings. They are both amazing quality but the price points can be really high so I don’t shop from them often unless they’re on sale. I consider them more of leggings I would actually wear to work out in or go to yoga or barre in rather than everyday wear.
These were a huge splurge but I had a 20% off coupon at the studio. The price point is over $100 which is just so much but I do love the moto look on these! They’re super flattering too!
What I appreciate about both of these brands is the fun unique leggings they come out with – prints, cutouts, sparkle – they have the most “fun” leggings by far! I just wish they weren’t so expensive.
And there you have it! All of my favorite leggings all in one blog post 🙂 Hope you enjoyed!
