One of the things I absolutely love about blogging is this community! I love talking to all of you, getting to know you, and sharing things that you also love with everyone else 🙂 When I asked you all for recommendations a few weeks back for Paris and Positano, you all shared so many great recommendations!
Many of you messaged me to share them so I’m sharing them today so you can reference them whenever you visit Paris or Positano! I’ve input the link to the Tripadvisor reviews too so you can read for yourself. Yelp isn’t big outside of the US so Tripadvisor reviews are so handy for reading reviews on restaurants and hotels. I’ll put a note next the things we booked or plan to do from the list. 🙂
PARIS
Le Comptoir de la Gastronomie – Must get the foie gras ravioli and roasted duck breast
Angelina – Get the hot chocolate, brunch, high tea, or the Mont Blanc dessert – a chestnut, cream, and meringue dessert. It is walking distance from the Louvre * Lots of mentions of Angelina from you all! Clearly a crowd favorite!
Paris is beautiful overall but try to go to Versailles and Giverny! Eat at le Relais de l’Entrecote
Visit Champs-Elysees for shopping and entertainment and the actual house and studio of Chanel!
Get a macaron from Laduree
Du Pain et des Idees has the best croissants! And the falafel at L’As Du Fallafel is the best ever
Pierre Herme in Paris for the best macarons (better than Laduree IMO) – Many mentions of Pierre Herme for macarons!!
East Mamma or Pink Mamma in Paris for the most amazing truffle pasta and carpaccio!
Musee de l’Orangerie to see Monet’s Water Lilies and for a restaurant: La Pascade
Go to the first Chanel store! They’re the only boutique with white shopping bags!
POSITANO
Franco’s Bar – Go for Sunset Happy Hour
Le Sirenuse Hotel Balcony – Absolute best view for insta pics! (Clearly you all know the way to my heart hahahah I’m a sucker for a view)
“Capri was absolutely breathtaking!” – LOTS of mentions of Capri and a private boat trip! We are planning to do a private boat trip to Capri and I have a feeling it’ll be a highlight of our trip 🙂
Lemon Grove Tour* – looking into this 🙂
Ravello is a MUST. If we go back, I want to stay in Ravello. – I haven’t heard of this but saw that many say it’s the hidden gem of the Amalfi Coast!
Positano Home Cooking – Best experience with Authentic Food* (We booked this!! Cannot wait!!! :)
