The Sephora Savings Event kicks off on Friday April 4th and I can’t wait to shop and share some of my top recommendations. I always love covering the event every spring and fall because I love all things makeup and sharing all my favs with you. This year, I tried to condense my blog post and kept it to 2-4 products per category. I’ll still have my old posts linked below in case you want more recommendations and of course you can always dm me about any product 🙂 It also makes me so happy to be a resource for you while you shop the event 🙂 Throughout the event, I’ll be sharing my top picks, what I’m ordering and makeup tutorials! Stay tuned for an unboxing on IG reels as well.

MY WISHLIST

I have a few restocks (Armani eye tint, Patrick Ta Glow Balm, and Caudalie serum) and the rest is for fun! So excited to try the new Patrick Ta body care line and a few new lip products. I’ve heard the Natasha Denona lip liner and Makeup Forever gloss are both amazing. The YSL blush got me with the packaging and the Saie hybrid cream blush and highlight looks perfect for spring and summer. I already have one of the Patrick Ta duos but grabbing the pink one for a Coachella makeup look! I’m also picking up the Laura Mercier powder in the ultra blur version. I’ve always loved the OG formula and interested to see how this one will compare I’m grabbing the translucent honey in the mini size.
This will inevitably be the first of a few orders during the sale so stay tuned for unboxings and first impressions 🙂
Other products I’d be curious to try out but didn’t make my top list.. might go swatch them in store to see..
FOUNDATION
My holy grail forever repurchased foundation is Armani Luminous Silk. It’s so reliable and no matter how many foundations I try, I always repurchase it to have in my makeup drawer. It has a beautiful finish, medium buildable coverage, and I can always count on it for a good makeup day. (NARS sheer glow is no longer available at Sephora so not including it this year). However, there’s a new favorite in town – the Dior foundation stick! I picked this up during the last sale in the fall and have been loving it so much. It looks beautiful on the skin and I love the coverage! My only wish is that they’d expand the shade range as it’s pretty limited.
For lighter makeup, I love the Hourglass Skin Tint and the IT Cosmetics CC cream Nude Glow
My favorite matte and full coverage foundation is the NARS soft matte and I reach for this most during fall or winter but I don’t do full coverage makeup much anymore. This one is extremely long lasting! It is full coverage and gives a beautiful matte finish without being drying. Sometimes I even mix this with Armani Luminous Silk if I want a little less coverage but I want it to last even longer.
Shade names: Armani Luminous Silk: 5.75 or 6.25 when I’m more tan // Dior: 3N // Hourglass: Shade 9 // NARS Soft Matte: Barcelona // IT Cosmetics CC Nude Glow: Medium Tan
For reference, I am generally medium with warm undertones when selecting foundations sometimes light medium. I would describe my skin as normal with some oil in my t-zone by the end of the day.

GLOWY PRODUCTS
Even though I prefer matte makeup I still love to have a glowy complexion and base so I always use some type of glowy agent underneath my foundation or mixed in with my foundation. Here’s a few of the ones I’ve tried and love – my current obsession is mixing the Charlotte Tilbury stick with the Iconic London underglow primer!
Shade Names: Charlotte Tilbury: 7.5 / Armani: Shade 10 / Saie: Starglow or Sunglow
PRIMER
I’ve been using the Iconic London primer nonstop! It’s glowy, luminous, and blurring. My other top primers are the Laneige Glowy Makeup Serum, Hourglass Primer, and Huda Primer. The Laneige drops give a great glowy base for spring/summer makeup. The Hourglass and Huda both blur out pores while creating a smooth long lasting base for makeup application.
CONCEALER
For undereye, I’ve been loving Dior, Hourglass, and Natasha Denona the most. If you are looking for a full coverage option that’s not drying Hourglass is really great. I still love my Tarte Shape Tape so much though. Tarte Shape Tape isn’t sold at Sephora but you can always use code KHANH for 15% off it on Tarte’s website! I’ve tried many concealers (Too Faced, Urban Decay, Clinique, Becca, Huda Beauty, Fenty, Pat Mcgrath, Kosas) and still like the Hourglass, Dior, and Shape Tape the most.
For setting undereye, I’ve been using a combo of the Pat Mcgrath blurring undereye powder in Lightand Huda Beauty powder in Banana Bread. I pat out the excess powder on my hand before applying to my undereye area.
One product I highly recommend if you struggle with dry undereyes is the Bobbi Brown eye base/primer! I got this a couple years ago and it’s amazing. Definitely the best eye cream and eye prep I’ve used.
Shade names: Hourglass: Beech // Dior: 3W // Natasha Denona: YW9 // Armani: 5.75
For reference, I usually get medium with neutral or warm undertones when selecting concealers for undereye and medium with warm undertones for all over.
I also love the Merit stick for covering blemishes on no makeup days and the Nars pot concealer for covering breakouts since it’s so full coverage.
SETTING POWDER, FINISHING POWDER, AND SETTING SPRAY
My favorite power of all time is the Charlotte Tilbury powder (in Medium) and no other powder has even come close. I use this forsetting all over my face and Laura Mercier (Honey) or Huda (Banana Bread) for my undereye. These are all really great options for powders and lay beautifully on the skin.
The Charlotte Tilbury setting spray is the best – truly makes my makeup last all day and is the best setting spray I’ve used. It does have a rose scent so if you’re sensitive to fragrance I wouldn’t recommend. Urban Decay All Nighter has less of a scent from what I remember and I used to use that all the time before I switched to Charlotte Tilbury. I tried the One/Size Setting Spray last year and it’s super long lasting! When I need my makeup to last ALL day I’ll spray the Charlotte Tilbury after each layer of makeup and then set with the One/Size at the end to lock it all in.
The lighting palettes from Hourglass are a top recommendation always. These finishing powders are applied after your setting powder and they bring such luminosity to the skin. I can see a difference in how my makeup looks when I do this extra step. It’s hard to show on camera but I really feel it makes all the difference and gives that extra oomph to your makeup. You can also buy these individually but I love them in the palettes to have a few options for color. They give you that glow from within look to your face. I would recommend choosing the volume that is more complimentary to your skin tone. I have both Volume I and II and do love both but I don’t think you need both of them. When I first purchased it, they only had Volume I but if I were buying it now brand new, I would just purchase Volume II.

BRONZER
I’ve tried many bronzers and my favorites for powder are still the Hourglass Bronzer and Gucci Bronzer. Hourglass is so finely milled and just looks so gorgeous on the skin. The Patrick Ta Bronzer Duo in ‘She’s Sculpted’ is still my most used cream bronzer! I always love my contour when I use this.
Powder Bronzer Shade Names: Hourglass: Radiant Bronze Light// Gucci: 3 Medium
Cream and Liquid Bronzer Shade Names: Patrick Ta: She’s Sculpted // Makeup by Mario: Medium
Liquid Bronzer Shade Names: Makeup by Mario: Medium // Saie: Swim // Rare Beauty: Solace

BLUSH
I’m such a blush fanatic! I really think it just completes the entire makeup look and love different shades for different seasons and looks. I always layer cream blush and powder blush on top for longevity. There’s been a resurgence of powder blushes after years of cream and liquids saturating the market and I’m really interested in trying the new YSL blushes. Yes it’s for the packaging lol but I hope the product is good too. Here are some of the ones I’ve been loving the most. My top recommendations for blush would be the Patrick Ta Duo in She’s so LA, the Hourglass blush in Sublime Flush, the Kosas in Dreamland and Rare Beauty in Hope.
Powder Shade Names: Hourglass: Sublime Flush // Rare Beauty: Hope // Kosas: Dreamland
Cream/Liquid Shade Names: Patrick Ta: She’s so LA, She’s Blushing, and Not Too Much // Merit: Terracotta

HIGHLIGHTER
The rare beauty highlighter is still #1 in my heart! I have shades Flaunt and Exhilarate and love them both. It is fragile though and breaks easily. Between the two shades, I reach for Flaunt more often. I also love the Dior Palette as well and it’s versatility.
Shade names: Rare Beauty: Flaunt and Exhilarate // Dior: 001 Universal
BROWS AND EYES
This is probably the most boring part of my makeup routine because I’ve found products that I like so I just repurchase them over and over. I’m still using my same brow pencil, mascara primer and mascara for the last couple years. I have straight asian lashes (I do use an eyelash serum for length and thickness) and this mascara combo just makes them look so nice.
For eyeshadow, I love easy small palettes that have all the essentials and are easy to travel with. I’ve been reaching for the Armani eye tint in Cashew the most followed by Merit Vachetta. I also love the Charlotte Tilbury palettes or the Natasha Denona Mini Palettes for travel or if you want a less bulky palette. My top three larger palettes I’d recommend are the Makeup by Mario Master Mattes and Makeup by Mario Ethereal Eyes palette and Patrick Ta palette. The Ethereal Eyes palette is stunning but mine is from a couple years ago so the colors are slightly different. This year’s version is cooler toned with midnight blues mixed in.
Shade names: Charlotte Tilbury: Golden Goddess // Armani: Cashew 22M // Merit: Vachetta // Urban Decay: Space Cowboy
This is the best eyelash curler ever!! Tried it last year and it’s amazing.
Eyeshadow Palettes
Sparkly eyeshadows
I LOVE the Patrick Ta duos! I have Talk to my Team and I want I’m with Her for my pink Coachella outfit! Urban Decay Space Cowboy is always a perfect eyeshadow topper as well.
Easy eye products – what I usually use on a daily basis
LIPSTICK
I live for a good lip combo!! No makeup look is complete without a perfect lip combo and I love buying new shades and formulas to try. All of my lipsticks are primarily peachy nudes and brown toned nudes which I’ve gravitated towards for the last few years 🙂 I find that these compliment my warm skin undertone the most. My most worn lipsticks lately are Tom Ford Sable Smoke, Nars Breathless, and Charlotte Tilbury Nude Kate. I really tried to narrow it down to under 5 for lipstick, liner, and gloss 😉
Shade names: Charlotte Tilbury: Nude Kate, Penelope Pink and Yes Honey // NARS: Breathless // Tom Ford: Sable Smoke // YSL: Melted Honey
LIPLINER
The Huda Beauty liner in Sandy Beige has become my favorite lip liner. I’ve been reaching for it almost every day – glides on and lasts all day.
Heartbroken to share that they discontinued my favorite Nothin but Nude affordable liner from Sephora Collection!! They’ve replaced it with a longwear transfer proof lip liner with new shades so I’ll be trying out 08 perfect beige for us. Stay tuned!!
Shade names: Huda Beauty: Sandy Beige // Makeup Forever: 600 Anywhere Caffeine // Makeup by Mario: Almond and Tan // ABH: Deep Taupe
LIPGLOSS
I am a gloss girl forever – I just can’t do a lip combo without a gloss lol. These are some of my favorite glosses. My most reached for gloss is the Tom Ford which they’ve also discontinued (lol) everything I love is discontinued. I still haven’t found a replacement for it but below are other glosses I also love! I’ve also rediscovered my love for the MAC Lipglasses but they’re not sold at Sephora.
Shade names: Patrick Ta: She’s Expensive and Superficial and Pouty // YSL: Sweet Pink // Saie: Shake // Dior: 013 Beige and 066 Shimmer Candy // Lawless: Glazed
MAKEUP BRUSHES
I couldn’t do my makeup without these brushes. If I could recommend two brushes only it would be the Hourglass dual ended brush and the Mario F4. They’re truly worth the splurge and keep their quality wash after way. The dual ended Hourglass brush is a must have for me. I use the larger side for bronzer every day and the smaller side for my undereye powder. The F4 is so multipurpose and you can use it with creams/liquids for foundation, bronzer, blush, etc. So good!
I also love the Patrick Ta nose contour brush! It makes contouring my nose super easy.
Brush Cleaner
SKINCARE
The Innbeauty extreme cream + tinted sunscreen and Caudalie serum have been my favorite skincare finds over the past 6 months! I tried to condense skincare to my current favs but you can always go back to my previous Sephora posts for more skincare recs.
Moisturizer
Sunscreen
Serums/Vitamin C
Eye Cream
Eye patches
I love the Peter Thomas Roth eye masks! Patchology is great too but Sephora doesn’t carry that brand. I really want to try the Summer Fridays jet lag ones that just launched!
Face Masks
Pimple/Blemish Products
Lip Mask
BODY
I use these two daily and I swear the creme de corps has made my skin softer! I always lotion up as soon as I’m out of the shower! It’s unscented so I layer some of the bum bum cream on top. It smells so good! I loved the bum bum cream so much I got the hair and body mist and love spraying this when I don’t want to wear perfume. I’ve tried the pink cream from Sol De Janeiro and really like that one too – a lighter scent kind of smells sweet and has some fruity notes.
Patrick Ta just dropped a whole body care line and you know I already ordered everything to try and review!! His major glow balm in She’s on Vacation is my favorite!! I’m really excited for the body creme and have such high hopes for it. Will it replace my bum bum cream?!
This self tanner is my favorite!! The color looks so golden and natural and the mousse is hydrating. It usually lasts around 5-6 days on me. Sephora also started carrying Lux Unfiltered this year – I love their gradual tanning cream and face drops.

FRAGRANCE
My favorite perfume is Baccarat Rouge 540 but over the last year I’ve dabbled in trying other fragrance. Below are some of my favorite ones I’ve tried! If you like vanilla, the Phlur vanilla skin is so good! The pink pepper note is great and makes it a little more interesting than a true vanilla.
Body Mists
Perfumes
HAIR
If you get one hair product during this sale let it be the Gisou Honey Hair Mask!! Usually when brands reformulate products it’s never for the better but this hair mask is SO good. I loved the OG and I might love the reformulated one even more. It makes your hair so soft, has the same amazing scent, and comes in a super cute honeypot package now. Daniel even tried this recently and said his hair felt so much softer after one use.
Hair Mask
Hair Tools
I love my Dyson airwap and use it so much now! I alternate between that and the GHD curling iron. If you’re looking for a new hairbrush I love the crown affair one! It really smoothes out my hair as it brushes.
Dry shampoo and styling products
Heat protectant, hair oils, scalp treatments, and leave in conditioners
GIFT SETS
So many great beauty sets! Great if you want to try out lots of products from a brand and need a starter pack. The Sephora Favorites ones are a great deal too if you want to try a lot of their popular products.
